In Expeditions, you lead a team of specialists into far-flung wilds—Arizona’s arid desert, the Carpathians’ rugged slopes, and Little Colorado. Each region presents geological, environmental, and physical challenges. As you traverse uncharted terrain, you must manage your crew, maintain and upgrade your all-terrain vehicles, and deploy advanced tools such as drones, metal detectors, and sonar to uncover secrets beneath the surface.

Unlike past entries, this game encourages strategic planning: choose which specialists to hire, decide how to expand your base, and allocate research efforts. Each decision impacts your ability to endure nature’s trials. The physics-driven terrain and vehicle mechanics maintain the series’ feel of struggle and satisfaction when overcoming obstacles.

Originally, Expeditions launched without co-op, but a free post-launch update added online co-op for up to 4 players—now friends can join your expeditions in real time.
