What You’ll Experience

Start with a small village and nurture it into a thriving domain. Manage food, labor, resources, taxation, and production chains. Seasons, weather, and soil fertility influence how your land grows or suffers. As your domain grows, you’ll face military threats, raids, and the challenge of balancing growth versus defense.

When conflicts arise, Manor Lords shifts to RTS-style tactical battles. You command troops directly on the battlefield, using terrain, formations, and flanks. Battles aren’t just about numbers—they hinge on morale, supply lines, and your strategy. The game’s ambition is to make both city building and warfare meaningful, not separate modes.

The game is in Early Access (launched April 26, 2024) and still under development. Some systems are incomplete, and updates can be slow. However, the foundation is strong: the organic layout system (no rigid grids), curved roads, and historically inspired mechanics give it a distinct feel.
